Mingquan Lin studied robot engineering at Wuhan University of Technology and is an undergraduate in the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Undergraduate work included reinforcement-learning motion control and autonomous navigation for mobile robots. His interests are robot interaction, embodied intelligence, and multimodal affective expression, especially biomimetic facial-expression generation and natural human–robot interaction.
